उदङ्मुखाः प्राङ्मुखा वा कुर्युर्ब्राह्मणपुंगवाः मन्त्रवन्तश्च कर्तव्याश् चरवः प्रतिदैवतम् //

Transliteration

udaṅmukhāḥ prāṅmukhā vā kuryurbrāhmaṇapuṃgavāḥ mantravantaśca kartavyāś caravaḥ pratidaivatam //

Translation

Hướng mặt về phương bắc hoặc phương đông, bậc tối thượng trong hàng Bà-la-môn nên cử hành nghi lễ; và đối với mỗi vị thần, phải chuẩn bị lễ vật nấu chín (caru) kèm theo các thần chú thích hợp.
