Adhyaya 91 — The Gods’ Hymn to Kātyāyanī and the Goddess’ Prophecy of Future Manifestations
प्रणतानां प्रसीद त्वं देवि विश्वार्तिहारिणी ।
त्रैलोक्यवासिनामीड्ये लोकानां वरदा भव ॥
praṇatānāṃ prasīda tvaṃ devi viśvārtihāriṇī /
trailokyavāsinām īḍye lokānāṃ varadā bhava
Ô Nữ Thần, Đấng xua tan khổ não của thế gian, xin đoái thương những ai cúi lạy. Ô Đấng được ca tụng bởi cư dân của ba cõi, xin trở thành Đấng ban ân phúc cho các thế giới.

Surrender (praṇāma) is portrayed as the proper posture before the Divine, and the expected fruit is not domination but relief of suffering for all. The devotee seeks boons aligned with loka-saṅgraha (holding the world together).
A stuti/vara-yācñā (praise and request) embedded in the narrative episode (Upākhyāna). It reinforces Purāṇic dharma by modeling correct prayer and intention.
‘Three worlds’ can be read as body–mind–spirit domains; Devi is praised as the harmonizer across all planes, and ‘varadā’ indicates the awakening of inner capacities when ego bows down.
