Adhyaya 70The King Confronts the Rakshasa and Restores the Brahmin’s Wife

स्वकर्मफलपाकेन भर्तुस्तस्य महात्मनः ।

वियोजिताहं तद्धेतुरयमासीन् निशाचरः ॥

sva-karma-phala-pākena bhartus tasya mahātmanaḥ |

viyojitāhaṃ tad-dhetur ayam āsīn niśācaraḥ ||

“Do quả báo của chính nghiệp ta đã chín muồi, ta bị lìa xa người chồng đại tâm ấy. Nguyên nhân của sự chia lìa đó chính là kẻ du hành trong đêm này (rākṣasa).”
