पुरुषैरपि नो शक्या कर्तुमित्थं नृशंसता ।

स्वभावरुचिरैर्मादृक् कथं योषित् करिष्यति ॥

puruṣair api no śakyā kartum itthaṃ nṛśaṃsatā | svabhāva-rucirair mā-dṛk kathaṃ yoṣit kariṣyati ||

“Sự tàn nhẫn như thế, ngay cả bậc nam tử cũng khó làm. Huống chi một người nữ như con—vốn thiên về lòng nhu hòa—làm sao có thể làm điều ấy?”
