Adhyaya 47 — Brahma’s Awakening and the Ninefold Scheme of Creation
प्रकाशा बहिरन्तश्च ऊर्ध्वस्रोतः समुद्भवाः ।
तुष्टात्मकस्तृतीयस्तु देवसर्गो हि स स्मृतः ॥
prakāśā bahir antaś ca ūrdhvastrotaḥ samudbhavāḥ /
tuṣṭātmakaḥ tṛtīyas tu devasargo hi sa smṛtaḥ ||
Các hữu tình sinh ra thuộc loại ūrdhva-srotas đều rực sáng cả bên ngoài lẫn bên trong. Sự sáng tạo thứ ba này, mang bản tính của sự mãn nguyện, được ghi nhớ là sự sáng tạo của chư thiên (devasarga).
