Adhyaya 35 — Madālasa’s Instruction on Purity, Impurity, and Corrective Rites (Śauca and Aśauca)
संहतानाञ्च वस्त्राणां प्रोक्षणात् सञ्चयस्य च । वल्कलानामशेषाणामम्बुमृच्छौचमिष्यते ॥
saṃhatānāñ ca vastrāṇāṃ prokṣaṇāt sañcayasya ca | valkalānām aśeṣāṇām ambumṛcchaucam iṣyate ||
Đối với y phục được gấp/đóng gói và đối với các đống tích trữ, sự thanh tịnh là bằng cách rảy nước. Còn đối với mọi y phục bằng vỏ cây (valkala), sự thanh tịnh được quy định bằng nước và đất (đất sét).
