पूजयेत् तु नरः शक्त्या तेनैवातिथिमादरात् ।
कुर्याच्चाहरहः श्राद्धमन्नाद्येनोदकेन च ॥
pūjayet tu naraḥ śaktyā tenaivātithim ādarāt / kuryāc cāharahaḥ śrāddham annādyenodakena ca
Một người nên kính trọng và tiếp đãi vị khách ấy theo khả năng của mình. Và mỗi ngày, nên cử hành śrāddha bằng thức ăn và các vật phẩm tương tự, cùng với nước.
