Adhyaya 22 — Kuvalayashva’s Death through Daitya-Deceit and Madalasa’s Self-Immolation
संग्रामे युध्यमाना येऽभीता गोद्विजरक्षणे ।
क्षुण्णाः शस्त्रैर्विपद्यन्ते त एव भुवि मानवाः ॥
saṃgrāme yudhyamānā ye 'bhītā godvijarakṣaṇe | kṣuṇṇāḥ śastrair vipadyante ta eva bhuvi mānavāḥ ||
Những người chiến đấu nơi chiến địa không hề sợ hãi, vì sự bảo hộ bò và các bà‑la‑môn, và ngã xuống—bị vũ khí chém hạ—chỉ những người ấy mới thật là bậc nam tử trên cõi đất này.
