कुतो निष्क्रमितुं शक्तो मया जीर्णस्तु सो5सुर: । इल्वलस्तु विषण्णो<भूद् दृष्टवा जीर्ण महासुरम्,“अब वह कैसे निकल सकता है, मैंने (लोकहितके लिये) उस असुरको पचा लिया है।' महादैत्य वातापिको पच गया देख इल्चलको बड़ा खेद हुआ
kuto niṣkramituṁ śakto mayā jīrṇas tu so 'suraḥ | ilvalas tu viṣaṇṇo 'bhūd dṛṣṭvā jīrṇa-mahāsuram ||
Lomaśa nói: “Làm sao con quỷ ấy có thể thoát ra được? Ta đã tiêu hóa nó rồi (vì lợi ích của thế gian).” Thấy đại ác quỷ Vātāpi đã bị tiêu hóa như vậy, Ilvala chìm trong đau buồn và chán nản.
