ऋतुपर्णस्य विदर्भयात्रा-निश्चयः तथा बाहुकस्य हयपरिक्षा (Ṛtuparṇa’s resolve to go to Vidarbha and Bāhuka’s examination of horses)
तच्छुत्वा वचन तस्य सुदेवस्य विशाम्पते | सुनन्दा शोधयामास पिप्लुप्रच्छादनं मलम्,युधिष्ठिर! सुदेवका यह वचन सुनकर सुनन्दाने दमयन्तीके ललाटवर्ती चिह्नको ढँकनेवाली मैल धो दी
tac chrutvā vacanaṁ tasya sudevasya viśāmpate | sunandā śodhayāmāsa piplupra-cchādanaṁ malam, yudhiṣṭhira |
Hỡi bậc chúa của muôn dân, nghe lời Sudeva, Sunandā liền bắt tay gột rửa lớp bụi bẩn che khuất dấu ấn trên trán, để thân phận và phẩm giá chân thật không còn bị giấu kín nữa.
