बृहृदश्च उवाच एवमुक्तो नलस्तेन न््यवसत् तत्र पूजित: । ऋतुपर्णस्य नगरे सहवाष्णेयजीवल:,बृहदश्च मुनि कहते हैं--राजन्! राजाके ऐसा कहनेपर नल वार्ष्णेय और जीवलके साथ सम्मानपूर्वक ऋतुपर्णके नगरमें निवास करने लगे
Bṛhadaśva uvāca: evam ukto nalas tena nyavasat tatra pūjitaḥ | ṛtuparṇasya nagare saha vārṣṇeyajīvalaḥ ||
Đạo sĩ Bṛhadaśva nói: Tâu Đại vương, khi vua Ṛtuparṇa đã nói như vậy, Nala—được kính trọng và tiếp đãi trọng hậu—liền ở lại trong thành của Ṛtuparṇa, cùng với Vārṣṇeya và Jīvala.
