Shloka 46

नलस्य बाहुकत्वेन ऋतुपर्णनगरप्रवेशः

Nala as Bāhuka enters Ṛtuparṇa’s city

ब्रह्मण्य: साधुवृत्तश्न सत्यवागनसूयक: । शीलवान्‌ वीर्यसम्पन्न: पृथुश्रीर्धर्मविच्छुचि:,'वे ब्राह्मणभक्त, सदाचारी, सत्यवादी, किसीके दोषको न देखनेवाले, शीलवान्‌, पराक्रमी, प्रचुर सम्पत्तिके स्वामी, धर्मज्ञ तथा पवित्र हैं

brahmaṇyaḥ sādhuvṛttaś ca satyavāg anasūyakaḥ | śīlavān vīryasampannaḥ pṛthuśrīr dharmavic chuciḥ ||

Người kính trọng Bà-la-môn và phụng sự đạo pháp, sống ngay thẳng, lời nói chân thật, không bới móc lỗi người. Người đoan chính, tự chế, dũng mãnh, giàu thịnh vượng, tinh tường về dharma và trong lòng thanh tịnh.
