नलस्य बाहुकत्वेन ऋतुपर्णनगरप्रवेशः
Nala as Bāhuka enters Ṛtuparṇa’s city
सम्यग गोप्ता विदर्भाणां निर्जितारिगण: प्रभु: । तस्य मां विद्धि तनयां भगवंस्त्वामुपस्थिताम्,“वे विदर्भवेशकी जनताका अच्छी तरह पालन करनेवाले हैं। उन्होंने समस्त शत्रुओंको जीत लिया है, वे बड़े शक्तिशाली हैं। भगवन्! मुझे उन्हींकी पुत्री जानिये। मैं आपकी सेवामें (एक जिज्ञासा लेकर) उपस्थित हुई हूँ
samyag goptā vidarbhāṇāṁ nirjitārigaṇaḥ prabhuḥ | tasya māṁ viddhi tanayāṁ bhagavaṁs tvām upasthitām ||
Người là bậc hộ quốc của dân Vidarbha, một chúa tể hùng mạnh đã khuất phục mọi đạo quân thù. Ôi bậc đáng tôn kính, xin ngài biết cho: tôi là ái nữ của người ấy. Tôi đến trước ngài để hầu cận và cầu xin lời chỉ dạy.
