भवतत्ष प्रशंसाभिनििन्दाभिरितरस्य च । कथायुक्ता: परिषद: पृथग्‌ राजन्‌ समागता:,“राजन्‌! साधारण लोग भिन्न-भिन्न सभाओंमें सम्मिलित होकर अथवा अलग-अलग समूह-के-समूह इकट्ठे होकर आपकी प्रशंसा और दुर्योधनकी निन्दासे ही सम्बन्ध रखनेवाली बातें करते हैं

Transliteration

bhavatāṃ ca praśaṃsābhiḥ nindābhiḥ itarasya ca | kathāyuktāḥ pariṣadaḥ pṛthak rājan samāgatāḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Tâu Đại vương, những hội chúng riêng rẽ đã tụ họp ở nhiều nơi, và lời bàn luận của họ chỉ đầy những lời ca ngợi bệ hạ cùng sự chê trách kẻ kia (đối thủ của bệ hạ).”
