विदितं भवतां सर्व धार्तराष्ट्रैयथा वयम्‌ । छद्मना हृृतराज्याश्लानयाश्व बहुशः कृता:

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: viditaṃ bhavatāṃ sarvaṃ dhārtarāṣṭrair yathā vayam | chadmanā hṛtarājyāś ca anāyāś ca bahuśaḥ kṛtāḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Tất cả điều ấy các ngài đều đã rõ—rằng chúng ta đã bị các con của Dhṛtarāṣṭra dùng mưu trá đoạt mất vương quốc, và bao lần điều bất công, áp bức lại liên tiếp giáng xuống chúng ta.”
