लाभो ममैष राजेन्द्र यद् वै पूजयती द्विजान् | आदेशे तव तिष्ठन्ती हित कुर्या नरोत्तम,राजेन्द्र! नरश्रेष्ठ! मेरे लिये महान् लाभकी बात यही है कि मैं आपकी आज्ञाके अधीन रहकर ब्राह्मणोंकी सेवा-पूजा करती हुई सदैव आपका हित-साधन करूँ
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
lābho mamaiṣa rājendra yad vai pūjayatī dvijān |
ādeśe tava tiṣṭhantī hita kuryā naroत्तama ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Tâu Đại vương, đây quả là lợi lạc của tôi—rằng, ở dưới mệnh lệnh của bệ hạ, tôi có thể kính lễ và phụng sự những bậc nhị sinh (các Bà-la-môn), và nhờ đó luôn luôn mưu cầu điều lợi cho bệ hạ, ôi bậc tối thượng trong loài người.”
