सीते वक्ष्यामि ते किंचिद् विश्वासं कुरु मे सखि । भयं त्वं त्यज वामोरु शृणु चेदं वचो मम,“सखी सीते! मैं तुमसे एक बात कहूँगी। तुम मुझपर विश्वास करो। वामोरु! तुम भय छोड़ो और मेरी यह बात सुनो
sīte vakṣyāmi te kiñcid viśvāsaṃ kuru me sakhi | bhayaṃ tvaṃ tyaja vāmoru śṛṇu cedaṃ vaco mama ||
Mārkaṇḍeya nói: “Sītā, ta sẽ nói với nàng một điều—hãy đặt lòng tin nơi ta, người bạn. Hỡi người có đùi thon đẹp, hãy gạt bỏ sợ hãi và lắng nghe lời ta.”
