Sāvitrī’s Report and Nārada’s Prognosis (सावित्र्याख्यान—सत्यवान्-गुणवर्णनं तथा अल्पायुषः पूर्वसूचना)
अयश: पातसयित्वा मे मूर्थ्नि त्वं कुलपांसने । सकामा भव मे मातरित्युक्त्वा प्रसुरोद ह
Mārkaṇḍeya uvāca: Ayaśaḥ pātasayitvā me mūrdhni tvaṁ kulapāṁsane | sakāmā bhava me mātarity uktvā prasuroda ha ||
Mārkaṇḍeya nói: «Hỡi kẻ làm nhơ bẩn dòng tộc! Mẹ đã đặt dấu nhục nhã lên đầu con rồi; vậy mẹ hãy toại nguyện đi.» Nói xong, Bharata òa khóc.
