Draupadī-apaharaṇa-saṃdeśaḥ

पुरा त्वं तपसास्माभिललब्धो राजन महेश्वरात्‌ । पूर्वकायश्च पूर्वस्ते निर्मितो वज्ञसंचयै:,राजन! पूर्वकालमें हमलोंगोंने तपस्याद्वारा भगवान्‌ शंकरकी आराधना करके आपको प्राप्त किया था। आपके शरीरका पूर्वभाग--जो नाभिसे ऊपर है, वज़्समूहसे बना हुआ है

purā tvaṃ tapasāsmābhir labdho rājan maheśvarāt | pūrvakāyaś ca pūrvas te nirmito vajrasañcayaiḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Thuở trước, hỡi đại vương, nhờ khổ hạnh của chúng ta mà chúng ta đã được Maheśvara (Śiva) ban cho ngài như một ân phúc. Và phần trước của thân thể ngài—phần trên đã được tạo thành trước—được kết tạo từ những khối chất cứng rắn như kim cương (vajra).”
