कमण्डलुश्नाप्यनु तं॑ महर्षिगणसेवित: । राजन! पट्टिशके पीछे भगवान् रुद्रका अत्यन्त प्रभापूर्ण छत्र जा रहा था और उसके पीछे महर्षियोंद्वारा सेवित कमण्डलु यात्रा कर रहा था
kamaṇḍaluś cāpy anu taṃ maharṣigaṇasevitaḥ | rājan! paṭṭiśake pṛṣṭhe bhagavān rudrakaḥ atyanta-prabhāpūrṇaṃ chatraṃ gacchati sma, tasya pṛṣṭhataḥ maharṣibhiḥ sevitaḥ kamaṇḍaluḥ yātrāṃ karoti sma |
Mārkaṇḍeya nói: “Tâu Đại vương, theo sau Ngài ấy là chiếc bình nước thiêng (kamaṇḍalu), được các bậc đại tiên vây quanh phụng sự. Lại phía sau nữa, trên một cây gậy hay cột chống, là chiếc lọng rực rỡ phi thường gắn với đấng tôn nghiêm Rudra. Thế là đoàn rước tiến bước, mang theo những dấu hiệu của khổ hạnh và sự tôn kính của hiền thánh—cho thấy chính uy quyền tinh thần và kỷ luật tu trì, chứ không phải sức mạnh trần tục, mới ban cho vinh quang chân thật.”
