Brāhmaṇas Follow into Exile and Śaunaka’s Instruction
द्रौपद्या विप्रकर्षण राज्यापहरणेन च । दुःखार्दितानिमान् क्लेशैरनईहहं योक्तुमिहोत्सहे,द्रौपदीके अपमान तथा राज्यके अपहरणके कारण ये दुःखसे पीडित हो रहे हैं, अतः मैं इन्हें (आहार जुटानेका आदेश देकर) अधिक क्लेशमें नहीं डालना चाहता
draupadyā viprakarṣaṇa-rājyāpaharaṇena ca | duḥkhārditān imān kleśair anaihaṁ yoktum ihotsahe ||
Yudhiṣṭhira nói: “Vì nỗi nhục giáng xuống Draupadī và việc vương quốc bị đoạt mất, những người này đã sẵn bị khổ đau giày vò. Bởi vậy, ta không muốn trói buộc họ ở đây vào gian lao thêm nữa bằng cách đặt lên họ những gánh nặng mới.”
