ब्राह्मणानुयात्रा—शौनकोपदेशः

Brāhmaṇas Follow into Exile and Śaunaka’s Instruction

ब्राह्मणा ऊचु अस्मत्पोषणजा चिन्ता मा भूत्‌ ते हृदि पार्थिव । स्वयमाह्त्य चान्नानि त्वानुयास्यथामहे वयम्‌,ब्राह्मण बोले--पृथ्वीनाथ! आपके हृदयमें हमारे पालन-पोषणकी चिन्ता नहीं होनी चाहिये। हम स्वयं ही अपने लिये अन्न आदिकी व्यवस्था करके आपके साथ चलेंगे

brāhmaṇā ūcuḥ asmat-poṣaṇa-jā cintā mā bhūt te hṛdi pārthiva | svayam āhṛtya cānnāni tvām anuyāsyathāmahe vayam ||

Các Bà-la-môn thưa: “Tâu đại vương, xin đừng để lòng bận tâm về việc nuôi dưỡng chúng tôi. Chúng tôi sẽ tự lo liệu lương thực và những điều cần thiết, rồi sẽ theo bước ngài.”
