काज्चनीं शिरसा बिशभ्रद्‌ भीमसेन: स्रजं शुभाम्‌ पाशखड््‌गधनुष्पाणिरुदैक्षत धनाधिपम्‌,अपने मस्तकपर सुवर्णकी सुन्दर माला धारण किये और हाथोंमें खड्ग, पाश तथा धनुष लिये भीमसेन धनाध्यक्ष कुबेरकी ओर देख रहे थे

Transliteration

kāñcanīṁ śirasā bibhrad bhīmasenaḥ srajaṁ śubhām | pāśa-khaḍga-dhanuṣ-pāṇir udaikṣata dhanādhipam ||

Translation

Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: Bhīmasena đội trên đầu một vòng hoa vàng rực rỡ; tay cầm thòng lọng, gươm và cung, hướng mắt về Kubera—Chúa tể của của cải. Cảnh ấy nêu bật sự sẵn sàng có kỷ luật: ngay trước vị thần canh giữ giàu sang, tư thế của Bhīma vẫn là tỉnh giác, tự chế và có chủ đích, chứ không hề bị lòng tham dẫn dắt.
