एतत्‌ सर्व यथावृत्तं श्रोतुमिच्छामि तत्त्वतः । कर्मभिददेवकल्पानां कीर्त्यमानैर्भृशं रमे,ये सब बातें मैं यथार्थरूपसे ठीक-ठीक सुनना चाहता हूँ। उन देवोपम मुनियोंके चरित्रोंका वर्णन सुनकर मेरे मनको बड़ा सुख मिलता है

Transliteration

etat sarvaṁ yathāvṛttaṁ śrotum icchāmi tattvataḥ | karmabhir devakalpānāṁ kīrtyamānaiḥ bhṛśaṁ rame ||

Translation

Yudhiṣṭhira nói: “Con muốn được nghe tất cả những điều ấy đúng như đã xảy ra, một cách chân thực và tường tận. Mỗi khi các công hạnh của những bậc hiền triết tựa chư thiên được thuật lại, lòng con vô cùng hoan hỷ.”
