Transliteration

lomaśa uvāca: śṛṇu rājan kathāṁ divyām adbhutām atimānuṣīm | agastyasya mahārāja prabhāvam amitaujasāḥ ||

Translation

Lomaśa nói: Tâu Đại vương, xin hãy lắng nghe một thiên truyện thiêng liêng—kỳ diệu và vượt ngoài khuôn thước phàm nhân. Đó là chuyện về đại hiền Agastya, bậc thánh giả hùng vĩ, ôi Đại vương—hào quang của ngài không thể đo lường, uy lực sâu thẳm. Ta sẽ thuật lại đại công đức ấy—xin hãy nghe.
