धर्मार्थयोस्तिष्ठ राजन् पाण्डवैरभिरक्षित: । न हि शक््यास्तथाभूता यत्नादपि नराधिप,राजन्! आप पाण्डवोंसे सुरक्षित होकर धर्म और अर्थका अनुष्ठान कीजिये। नरेन्द्र! आपको पाण्डवोंके समान संरक्षक प्रयत्न करनेपर भी नहीं मिल सकते
dharmārthayostiṣṭha rājan pāṇḍavair abhirakṣitaḥ | na hi śakyās tathābhūtā yatnād api narādhipa ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Muôn tâu Đại vương, xin ngài vững lòng nơi dharma và theo đuổi sự thịnh vượng chính đáng, dưới sự che chở của các Pāṇḍava. Bởi lẽ, hỡi chúa tể loài người, dẫu có dốc hết công phu cũng không thể tìm được những bậc hộ vệ như họ.”
