Dvārakāyāṃ Sāhāyya-vibhāgaḥ (Alliance Allocation at Dvārakā) / उद्योगपर्व अध्याय ७

दुर्योधनस्तु तत्‌ सैन्यं सर्वमावरयत्‌ तदा । सहस्राणां सहस्र॑ तु योधानां प्राप्प भारत

duryodhanas tu tat sainyaṁ sarvam āvarayat tadā | sahasrāṇāṁ sahasraṁ tu yodhānāṁ prāpya bhārata janamejaya |

Vaiśampāyana nói: Khi ấy Duryodhana liền tiến hành thu về toàn bộ đạo quân ấy. Hỡi Bhārata, hỡi Janamejaya! Có được chiến binh hàng nghìn lại hàng nghìn, hắn vô cùng mãn nguyện—tưởng rằng Kṛṣṇa đã bị qua mặt—nên thế lực chiến tranh đáng sợ càng thêm vững mạnh, và hắn thúc đẩy mưu đồ của mình bằng sự tích tụ sức mạnh, chứ không bằng chính nghĩa (dharma).
