अध्याय २९ — वासुदेव–संजय संवादः
Karma, Varṇa-Dharma, and the Ethics of Governance
या नः स्नुषा: संजय वेत्थ तत्र प्राप्ता: कुलेभ्यश्व गुणोपपन्ना: । प्रजावत्यो ब्रूहि समेत्य ताश्न युधिष्ठिरो वो$भ्यवदत् प्रसन्न:
yā naḥ snuṣāḥ sañjaya vettha tatra prāptāḥ kulebhyaś ca guṇopapannāḥ | prajāvatyo brūhi sametya tāś ca yudhiṣṭhiro vo 'bhyavadat prasannaḥ ||
Yudhiṣṭhira nói: “Sañjaya, ông cũng biết những người phụ nữ là con dâu của chúng ta ở đó—đến từ các gia tộc cao quý, đầy đủ đức hạnh ưu tú và đã là mẹ của con cái. Hãy đến gặp họ và truyền lời này: ‘Yudhiṣṭhira, với lòng điềm tĩnh và nhân hậu, hỏi thăm an lành của các nàng.’”
