Karma, Varṇa-Dharma, and the Ethics of Governance
कन्या: स्वजेथा: सदनेषु संजय अनामयं मद्वगचनेन पृष्टवा । कल्याणा व: सन्तु पतयोडनुकूला यूयं पतीनां भवतानुकूला:
kanyāḥ svajeṭhāḥ sadaneṣu sañjaya anāmayaṃ mad-vacanena pṛṣṭvā | kalyāṇā vaḥ santu patayo ’nukūlā yūyaṃ patīnāṃ bhavatānukūlāḥ, sañjaya ||
Yudhiṣṭhira nói: “Hỡi Sañjaya, trong hoàng cung hãy ôm các thiếu nữ như con gái ruột của ông; nhân danh ta hỏi thăm sức khỏe của họ, rồi nói với họ rằng: ‘Các con gái, nguyện các con gặp được những người chồng cát tường, thuận hòa với các con; và các con cũng hãy thuận hòa, một lòng với chồng mình.’”
