Adhyāya 20 — Rājadharma Argument for Paternal Inheritance and Timely Conciliation

तदप्यनुमतं कर्म यथायुक्तमनेन वै । वासिताश्ष महारण्ये वर्षाणीह त्रयोदश,“तत्पश्चात्‌ धृतराष्ट्रने भी उस द्यूतकर्मका अनुमोदन किया और उन्होंने जैसा आदेश दिया, उसके अनुसार पाण्डव महान्‌ वनमें तेरह वर्षोतक- निवास करनेके लिये विवश हुए

Transliteration

tad apy anumataṃ karma yathāyuktam anena vai | vāsitāś ca mahāraṇye varṣāṇīha trayodaśa ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Việc ấy cũng được chấp thuận; và theo lệnh của ông ta, đúng theo thể thức, các Pāṇḍava bị ép phải cư ngụ trong đại ngàn suốt mười ba năm.”
