Duryodhana’s Reply in the Kuru Assembly
“तथा तुम्हें पास बिठाकर रत्न एवं ओषधियोंसे युक्त लाल हथेलीवाले हाथसे तुम्हारी पीठको धीरे-धीरे सहलायें ।।
vaiśampāyana uvāca | śālaskandho mahābāhus tvāṃ svajano vṛkodaraḥ | sāmnābhivadatāṃ cāpi śāntaye bharatarṣabha ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: “Rồi hãy cho người ấy ngồi kề bên, dùng bàn tay đỏ, có ngọc báu và dược thảo, mà vuốt nhẹ lưng ngài từng chút. Và Bhīmasena—vai rộng như thân cây śāla, tay mạnh phi thường, là người thân của ngài, được gọi là Vṛkodara—cũng vì hòa bình mà ôm ngài vào lòng và nói những lời dịu ngọt để giảng hòa, hỡi bậc tráng kiện nhất nhà Bharata.”
