Educational Q&A

The verse highlights the ever-present sovereignty of Mahe5bvara as the inner ruler, whose inherent radiance is likened to the cosmic fire at the end of time. Ethically, it frames human affairs within a larger moral and metaphysical order, encouraging humility, restraint, and reverence for the divine ground of dharma.

The speaker points to the Himalaya (Himavat) as the eternal abode of Mahe5bvara, describing his overwhelming, end-of-age-like brilliance. This functions as a sacred geographic and theological reference within the Udyoga Parva setting, where counsel and persuasion occur under the shadow of impending war.
