गालवस्य विषादः तथा विष्णुप्रयाणम्
Gālava’s Despair and Resolve to Seek Viṣṇu
निर्बन्धतस्तु बहुशो गालवस्य तपस्विन: । किंचिदागतसंरम्भो विश्वामित्रो5ब्रवीदिदम्
nirbandhatas tu bahuśo gālavasya tapasvinaḥ | kiñcid āgata-saṃrambho viśvāmitro 'bravīd idam ||
Nārada nói: Khi đạo sĩ Gālava cứ khẩn khoản nài xin hết lần này đến lần khác, Viśvāmitra—bị khuấy động bởi một chút bực dọc—đã thốt ra những lời sau. Đoạn này cho thấy sự nài ép dai dẳng có thể làm căng thẳng cả bậc hiền triết kỷ luật, và lời đáp của bậc thầy đôi khi phát sinh từ nhu cầu đặt ra giới hạn đạo lý, chứ không chỉ từ cơn giận.
