Saṃsāra-mārga-vistaraḥ
Vidura’s Expanded Account of the Path
यथा तु पुरुषो राजन् दीर्घमध्वानमास्थित: । क्वचित् क्वचिच्छूमाच्छान्त: कुरुते वासमेव वा
yathā tu puruṣo rājan dīrgham adhvānam āsthitaḥ | kvacit kvacic chrāmāc chāntaḥ kurute vāsam eva vā ||
Vidura nói: “Tâu Đại vương, như người đàn ông lên đường đi xa, khi mệt mỏi vì nhọc nhằn thì thỉnh thoảng dừng lại nghỉ và tạm trú, cũng vậy, trên hành trình luân hồi của cõi đời, kẻ vô minh lấy việc ‘nghỉ ngơi’ bằng cách lại vào thai mẹ hết lần này đến lần khác. Còn bậc trí thì được giải thoát khỏi thế gian này.”
