Yuddha-yajña-vyākhyāna (The Battle as Sacrifice): Ambarīṣa–Indra Saṃvāda

यस्तु नापेक्षते कंचित्‌ सहायं विजये स्थित:

yastu nāpekṣate kañcit sahāyaṃ vijaye sthitaḥ

Ambarīṣa nói: “Nhưng kẻ nào, dù đang đứng giữa chiến thắng, vẫn chẳng ngó đến ai để nương tựa—không dựa vào ai, không tìm người trợ giúp—thì bộc lộ một khí chất tự lực, dễ trượt sang kiêu mạn và cô lập khỏi lời khuyên chính đáng theo dharma.”
