एते ह्मात्या: कर्तव्या: सर्वकर्मस्ववस्थिता: । पूजिता: संविभक्ताश्न सुसहाया: स्वनुछिता:

Transliteration

ete hy ātyāḥ kartavyāḥ sarvakarmasv avasthitāḥ | pūjitāḥ saṁvibhaktāś ca aśnantu sahāyāḥ svānucitāḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Những người như thế phải được lập làm cận thần, vững vàng đảm nhiệm mọi lĩnh vực công vụ. Hãy tôn kính họ và ban cho phần lương thực cùng tiện nghi xứng đáng. Khi được kính trọng và nuôi dưỡng đúng phép, họ sẽ trở thành trợ thủ thích đáng và đồng minh đáng tin trong mọi việc của ngươi.”
