Indra–Māndhātṛ Dialogue
अप्रत्यक्ष बहुद्वारं धर्ममाश्रमवासिनाम् । प्ररूपयन्ति तद्भावमागमैरेव शाश्वतम्
bhīṣma uvāca | apratyakṣa-bahudvāraṃ dharmam āśramavāsinām | prarūpayanti tadbhāvam āgamair eva śāśvatam ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Dharma vĩnh cửu của những người sống theo kỷ cương các āśrama không hiện ra trực tiếp trước mắt, lại có nhiều ngả để tiếp cận. Vì thế, bậc học giả chỉ nhờ vào giáo huấn có thẩm quyền của kinh điển mà định rõ và làm sáng tỏ bản tướng chân thực của nó.”
