नागभायोवाच आर्य: सूर्यरथं वोढुं गतोडसौ मासचारिक: । सप्ताष्टभिर्दिनैर्विप्र दर्शयिष्यत्यसंशयम्‌

Transliteration

Nāgabhāryovāca: āryaḥ sūryarathaṁ voḍhuṁ gato ’sau māsacārikaḥ | saptāṣṭabhir dinair vipra darśayiṣyaty asaṁśayam ||

Translation

Vợ của Nāga nói: “Bạch ngài cao quý, phu quân của thiếp đã đi gánh cỗ xe của Thần Mặt Trời. Bổn phận ấy mỗi năm đến với chàng một lần, kéo dài trọn một tháng. Trong vòng bảy hoặc tám ngày nữa, ôi bậc Bà-la-môn, chàng ắt sẽ hiện đến nơi đây—không còn nghi ngờ gì.”
