Shloka 13
सम्प्राप्तस्यैव चाव्यग्रमावेद्योडहमिहागत: । ममाभिगमन प्राप्तो वाच्यक्ष वचन त्वया
samprāptasyaiva cāvyagram āvedyodham ihāgataḥ | mamābhigamana-prāpto vācyakṣa vacanaṃ tvayā || tataḥ sa vipras tāṃ nāgīṃ samādhāya punaḥ punaḥ | tadeva pulinaṃ nadyāḥ prayayau brāhmaṇarṣabhaḥ ||
Vị Bà-la-môn nói: “Ta đã đến đây với tâm không xao động và đã trình bày sự việc đúng như nó vốn là. Nay ngươi đã đến gặp ta, hãy thay ta chuyển đạt lời nhắn này.” Rồi vị Bà-la-môn ưu tú ấy, sau khi nhiều lần dặn dò và trấn an người nữ Nāga, lại trở về chính bờ sông ấy, men theo doi cát ven dòng nước mà đi.
