अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः
Sūrya–Nāga Dialogue on the Perfected Gleaner-Ascetic
भविष्यति महासत्त्व ख्यातिश्नाप्पतुला तव । शनैश्वरः सूर्यपुत्रो भविष्यति मनुर्महान्
vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca | bhaviṣyati mahāsattva khyātiḥ anupatulā tava | śanaiścaraḥ sūryaputro bhaviṣyati manur mahān |
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Hỡi bậc đại hồn, danh tiếng của ngươi sẽ vô song trong thế gian. Theo thời gian, Śanaiścara—con trai của Mặt Trời—sẽ trở thành Đại Manu, người khai mở một Manvantara. Trong Manvantara ấy, nhờ ân sủng của ta, ngươi sẽ được an lập làm bậc đứng đầu giữa các vị lãnh đạo bắt đầu từ Manu; điều này không còn nghi ngờ gì.”
