Nāga-āyatana-darśana-pratīkṣā — The Brāhmaṇa’s Request and Waiting on the Gomatī

ऋषयश्च सगन्धर्वा यच्च किंचिच्चराचरम्‌ | न ततो<स्ति परं मन्ये पावन दिवि चेह च

Transliteration

ṛṣayaś ca sa-gandharvā yac ca kiñcic carācaram | na tato 'sti paraṃ manye pāvanaṃ divi ceha ca ||

Translation

Vua Janamejaya nói: “Hết thảy các bậc hiền triết cùng các Gandharva, và mọi điều tồn tại trong vũ trụ—động hay tĩnh—theo phán đoán của ta, đều không vượt hơn Ngài. Ta không thấy ai có năng lực tẩy tịnh tối thượng hơn Đấng ấy, cả trên trời lẫn nơi cõi đất này.”
