Puruṣaikatva-vyākhyāna: The One Virāṭ Puruṣa and the Many ‘Puruṣas’
Rudra–Brahmā Saṃvāda
The verse highlights the ethical force of rightful authority used for protection and uplift: a dharmic elder issues a decisive command to remove danger and grant capability, emphasizing timely action and responsible power.
Bhīṣma addresses Garuḍa and orders him to quickly transform a king who has been safely hidden in a fissure of the earth into a sky-traveler—an act of supernatural assistance and immediate intervention.
