Conception is presented as a potent, compelling transition of life into the womb, and it is situated within the dharmic frame of husband and wife uniting with mutual intention—highlighting reciprocity/consent as the proper context for procreation.
Nārada describes the moment of sexual union between spouses and depicts the embryo’s entry into the womb as sudden and forceful—‘as if seized by a disturbance’—to emphasize the intensity and inevitability of embodiment once the conditions for conception are met.
