Śuka’s Nirveda: Vyāsa’s Admonition on Dharma, Impermanence, and ‘Imperishable Wealth’ (अक्षय-धन)
शुभेन विधिना लब्धमर्हाय प्रतिपादयेत् । क्रोधमुत्सृज्य दद्याच्च नानुतप्येन्न कीर्तयेत्
śubhena vidhinā labdham arhāya pratipādayet | krodham utsṛjya dadyāc ca nānutapyen na kīrtayet ||
Của cải có được bằng phương cách chính đáng và cát tường thì nên dâng hiến cho người xứng đáng. Hãy gạt bỏ sân giận mà bố thí; đã cho rồi thì đừng hối tiếc, cũng đừng đem việc ấy đi kể khoe với người khác.
