अव्यक्त–पुरुष–विवेकः (Discrimination of Avyakta/Prakṛti and Puruṣa) — Yājñavalkya’s Anvīkṣikī to Viśvāvasu
सर्वमेतद् विजानन्तो नासर्वस्य प्रबोधनात् | व्यक्ती भूता भविष्यन्ति व्यक्तस्य वशवर्तिन:
sarvam etad vijānanto nāsarvasya prabodhanāt | vyaktī bhūtā bhaviṣyanti vyaktasya vaśavartinaḥ ||
Vasiṣṭha nói: “Những kẻ chỉ biết toàn bộ cõi hiển lộ này, nhưng vì chưa được đánh thức đối với Đấng Tối Thượng vượt ngoài ‘tất cả’, thì chắc chắn vẫn sẽ là chúng sinh mang thân. Bị ràng buộc trong phạm vi của cái hiển lộ, họ tiếp tục bị nó chi phối, trở thành kẻ lệ thuộc vào những thôi thúc và tật lỗi đi kèm với thân phận hữu thân, như dục vọng và sân hận.”
