Shloka 36

अव्यक्त–प्रकृति–इन्द्रियविचारः

The Unmanifest, Prakṛtis, and the Sense-Complex

शरीरगृहसंज्ञस्य शौचतीर्थस्थ देहिन: । बुद्धिमार्गप्रयातस्य सुखं त्विह परत्र च

śarīra-gṛha-saṁjñasya śauca-tīrtha-stha dehinaḥ | buddhi-mārga-prayātasya sukhaṁ tv iha paratra ca ||

Parāśara nói: “Đối với hữu tình mang thân, xem thân này như chỗ ở, lấy sự thanh tịnh trong ngoài làm bến thiêng (tīrtha), và với trí phân biệt mà bước theo con đường chân phúc—thì an lạc phát sinh cả ở đời này lẫn đời sau.”

Educational Q&A

True well-being comes to the embodied person who treats purity (inner and outer) as the real ‘tīrtha’ and who, guided by discernment (buddhi), follows the path of spiritual and ethical welfare; such a person gains happiness both in this life and after death.
