तासां दर्प: समभवत्‌ प्रजानां धर्मनाशन: । दर्पात्मनां ततः पश्चात्‌ क्रोधस्तासामजायत

Transliteration

tāsāṁ darpaḥ samabhavat prajānāṁ dharmanāśanaḥ | darpātmanāṁ tataḥ paścāt krodhas tāsām ajāyata ||

Translation

Parāśara nói: “Trong dân chúng ấy nảy sinh kiêu mạn, kẻ hủy diệt Dharma. Và khi tâm trí họ đã bị kiêu mạn chiếm giữ, thì sau đó cơn giận liền bùng lên trong họ.”
