इन्द्रेण वृत्रवधः, ब्रह्महत्याया अनुगमनम्, तथा च विभाजन-निवासविधानम्

Indra’s defeat of Vṛtra; pursuit by Brahmahatyā; allocation of her abodes

भीष्म उवाच त्वय्येवैतन्महाप्राज्ञ युक्त निपुणदर्शनम्‌ । येनोपायेन सर्वार्थ नित्यं मृगयसेडनघ

bhīṣma uvāca | tvayy evaitan mahāprājña yuktaṃ nipuṇadarśanam | yenopāyena sarvārthān nityaṃ mṛgayase 'nagha ||

Bhīṣma đáp: “Ô bậc đại trí, đức vua vô tội, quả thật việc ngài có cái nhìn sắc bén và khả năng phân biện tinh tường là điều thích đáng. Bởi bằng phương tiện đúng đắn, ngài luôn tìm cầu mọi mục đích của đời người—dharma và các mục đích khác—nên năng lực tinh luyện để khảo nghiệm và xét lại điều đã nghe, quả nhiên thuộc về ngài.”
