एवं बहुविधा विप्रा: पुराणा यज्ञवाहना: । त्रैविद्यवृद्धा: शुचयो वृत्तवन्तो यशस्विन:

Transliteration

evaṁ bahuvidhā viprāḥ purāṇā yajñavāhanāḥ | traividyavṛddhāḥ śucayo vṛttavanto yaśasvinaḥ ||

Translation

Kapila nói: “Vì vậy, thuở xưa có nhiều hạng Bà-la-môn đã nâng đỡ và tiếp nối truyền thống tế tự. Họ tinh thông Tam Vệ-đà, hạnh kiểm thanh tịnh, kiên định trong sinh kế và kỷ luật chính đáng, và nổi danh bởi đức hạnh.”
