कालनिर्णयः, युगधर्मवर्णनम्, सृष्टिक्रमश्च
Time-Reckoning, Yuga-Dharma, and the Sequence of Creation
न कर्म भविताप्येतत् कृतं मम शतक्रतो । ऋद्धिर्वाउप्यथवा नर्द्धि: पर्यायकृतमेव तत्
śakra uvāca | na karma bhavitāpy etat kṛtaṃ mama śatakrato | ṛddhir vāpy athavā narddhiḥ paryāyakṛtam eva tat, śatakrato |
Hỡi Śatakratu! Hành động này không thật sự là do ta làm. Trong cảnh ngộ hiện nay, mọi việc phát sinh qua thân này không thể gọi là “ta làm” theo nghĩa chủ động tự tại. Phú quý và bần cùng—đủ đầy và thiếu thốn—lần lượt đến với mọi loài theo vòng xoay của định mệnh.
